What is the IEC (Import And Export Code)?
The Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) is a mandatory 10-digit identification number required for import and export activities in India. It is issued by the DGFT( Directorate General of Foreign Trade), Ministry of Commerce and Industries.

PAN Card
Required for shareholders and directors. Foreign nationals must provide a valid passport.
Bank Account Statement
Bank account statement of the company or applicant.
Cancelled Cheque
Photocopy of the cancelled cheque.
Address Proof
Provide address proofs for the registered office, such as the latest Electricity Bill or Telephone Bill.
Incorporation Certificate
Certificate of Partnership Deed (for partnerships) or Incorporation Certificate (for companies).
Identity Proof

How to register for IEC through portal?
Go to the DGFT website at www.dgft.gov.in.
Click on the “Apply for New Import Export Code (IEC) or Modify existing IEC” option.
Enter your PAN details, including your name, date of incorporation or birth, and captcha code.
